When Tomatin Distillery was founded in 1897, its remote and idyllic setting was almost ideal. However, there was no local labour; the locals were scattered shepherds and cattle drovers. To accommodate its workforce, the company began a construction project. Since then, the distillery has been at the heart of the community, and the distillery has been at the heart of the community. This legacy has been carried on, and Tomatin is one of the few distilleries that still provides a home for its dedicated craftsmen. The Tomatin Legacy, a non-peaty scotch with aromas of vanilla bean, white chocolate, and cinnamon, gains a light sweetness from time in Bourbon barrels and Virgin Oak casks. Gentle waves of fresh fruit peppered with ginger emerge on the palate, followed by a light, clean finish.
