The Balvenie DoubleWood 12YO Gift Pack

The Balvenie DoubleWood 12YO is matured in two types of oak casks, which is unsurprising. It was aged in refill American oak casks for the first nine months before being finished in first-fill European oak Oloroso sherry butts for another nine months. The whisky was first released in 1993 and has since become somewhat of a cult classic. This rich and nuanced dram, even at 12 years old, is a great illustration of what the Balvenie distillery can produce.
