The Balvenie 14 Year Old Caribbean Cask Single Malt Scotch Whisky

The Caribbean Cask of Balvenie The 14-year-old single malt whisky is first “finished” in casks that had contained Caribbean rum after spending 14 years maturing in regular wood whisky casks.

Malt Master David C. Stewart MBE filled American oak barrels with his unique blend of premium West Indian rums to get the perfect finish.

The 14-year-old spirit was substituted for the rum when he determined that the casks were ready, and the wood was set to work finishing the process.

The end result is an outstanding single malt whisky with a warm, lingering finish, notes of caramel and a hint of fruit, and the classic smooth, honeyed flavour of The Balvenie.
