However, Lagavulin 16 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky is now a constant in the Lagavulin lineup as a result of its popularity. An extremely sought-after single malt Scotch whisky with the powerful peat flavour typical of southern Islay, as well as richness and dryness that make it a really unique libation. The 16-year-old Lagavulin whisky from the Lagavulin distillery has established itself as a standard Islay dram. Lagavulin 16 year old has a lovely flavour similar to Lapsang Souchong tea, albeit it may be more smokey than peaty.
