The Glen Grant 21 Years Old Asia Limited Edition builds on flowery and fruity smells and then adds high-vintage liquor that has been aged in the greatest Oloroso Sherry barrels to produce a distinctive floral and Sherry flavour that defies our preconceived notions of what Sherry casks should taste like. Astonishing, the delicate and elegant flavour supplied by high-quality sherry barrels, mixed with the over 60 years of bartending talents of chief bartender Dennis Malcolm, make this wine highly balanced and full of liveliness!

Glen Grant, often known as the “Garden Winery,” has long been renowned for its unfettered floral and fruity scent and its simple, refined flavour. Master brewer Dennis Malcolm created Glen Grant 21 Years in the oldest paved stone basement No. 4, using American bourbon and Oloroso sherry barrels that were hand-selected for quality and age. It was blended in small batches and sold in non-chill filtered bottles with a 46% alcohol content. To create a rich, smooth, and distinctive flavour, Glen Crown 21 Years is blended with a significant quantity of Oloroso first-time sherry casks.

A fortified wine called “Oloroso Sherry” is made in Spain. After oxidation, it turns dark and has a strong aroma of nuts and dried fruits. Oloroso oak barrel-aged whisky frequently reveals characteristics like candied fruit, chocolate, nuts, and spices. Sherry casks have remained expensive and difficult to come by in recent years. If you don’t utilise premium sherry oak casks, it will add some undesirable sulphur and other flavours. Nonetheless, Glen Grant 21 Years maintains the winery’s fundamental styles of harmony, purity, elegance, naturalness, and abundance of flowery and fruity scents while having a fuller, smoother, oilier feeling with rich layers.

When smelling the fragrance of Glen Grant 21 Years, the unrestrained floral and honey aromas are pleasantly surprising, followed by faint aromas of apple, cream cake and caramel. After the first bite, you can clearly feel the toffee and dark chocolate flavor belonging to the Sherry barrel, and the taste is smooth and full of oil. The finish is full of citrus, lemon and a touch of woody aroma, the whole is delicate and balanced, with a long aftertaste.

On the packaging, this 21-year Asian limited edition is all packaged in a gift box. The festive red and gold outer box, with the unique red wine label of 21 years, will be ready for the coming Golden Rabbit Year.
