GLENFIDDICH 21 Year Old Gran Reserva Rum Cask Finish Single Malt Whisky

A fantastic Glenfiddich 21 Year Old bottling, and as the name says, this single malt was finished in casks previously used to age Caribbean rum for four months! There’s some cask influence here in the form of tropical fruit and peppery ginger.

The reappearance of Glenfiddich’s 21yo under the designation Reserva after a few years under alternative titles is accompanied by an improvement to its packaging. It is still aged for four months in rum casks, but it now has a more refined presentation, as befits its place near the top of the distillery’s normal line.
