The Jägermeister recipe hasn’t been altered since it was first created in Wolfenbüttel, Germany, in 1878. Licorice, anise, ginger, juniper berries, and citrus peel are among the 56 herbs and spices used to make this dark-colored liqueur. The herb and spice mixture is steeped in water and alcohol before being matured for a year in oak barrels. It’s then combined with sugar and alcohol before being bottled and sent to your house.
Blending 56 botanicals, our ice-cold shot has always been embraced by those who take originality to the next level. Nature made it, we put it in a bottle.
