The Balvenie Doublewood 17 Year Old Single Malt Whisky (Discontinued item)

This Balvenie has been aged in two different types of casks, similar to the famous 12 year old expression. The main distinction is that this has received an additional five years of cask ageing. 2012’s release was excellent.

Tasting Note: Warm winter spices, vanilla, and honeysuckle are present on the palate after warm acacia honey and green apples on the nose. With notes of vanilla and honey, the finish is incredibly long.
