Aberlour 16 Year Old Double Cask Single Malt Scotch Whisky

This 16-year-old was aged in both first-fill bourbon barrels and sherry barrels. In his 2015 Whisky Bible, Jim Murray gave it a score of 94.5/100 and called it “a malt of unfettered grandeur.”

Warm and fruity flavours are enhanced by an enticingly spicy sweetness in this expression, which has the depth and complexity that comes from being aged for 16 years in a blend of American Oak casks and the best Sherry butts.
